From this point onward, unless formally invited back, the GRD is leaving these discussions. No progress has been made and in light of recent hostilities between the ADN and Ireland, it seems unlikely to be made. It was a valiant effort. Perhaps another time we will succeed.

I am truly sorry to hear of the GRD's withdrawal, Gamia. Considerable progress was made during the GS, particularly when you consider how raidplay and defensive operations were conducted prior to the conference.
The GS marked the first time raiders and defenders sat across the table from one another and discussed how to play the game. The GS provided an opportunity to understand the prospective of the opposition, and to identify areas of agreement and disagreement. It is important to recognize that several major aspects of the GS Accord have been adopted by major defender and raider alliances in NationStates, Gamia; I would say that this fact alone constitutes substantial progress.
The GRD's continuing participation would be greatly appreciated and encouraged. Do what you can to help resolve the issue between the ADN membership and Ireland, and let's continue to work together toward making raiderplay fun and enjoyable for all involved.

It seems that the EAA has also declared the accords null and void.
